Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating is dedicated to making the thrill of sailing a reality for physically and/or developmentally-challenged individuals. Don Backe, the executive director of CRAB is such an inspiration to everyone. When he became a paraplegic that did not keep him from his love of sailing and now he is sharing that love with other people who may be disabled but can still enjoy getting out on the water in a sailboat.
