John Williams a retired British marine officer had an exciting career on the Thames river. Now that he is retired he is passionate about Seagull engines. Seagull engines are small outboards dating from the 1930's. He also is a member of the Eventides owners group which to quote him "We are active and busy, a friendly group of builders, restorers and owners. We organise sailing meets and social events. Long live the Eventiders!"
